After long I finally decided to update my blog. Half of my motivation can be attributed to KT for constantly pestering me to write. So....Thank You KT....:-))
well so much has happened since the last time I wrote that it will be difficult to cover everything...so I will just try to focus on the highlights....and obviously noone is interested in reading about my daily activities...(other than me that is)
Firstly....a big landmark in my life.....birth of my darling daughter...Ananya..now what can I say about that....I reached Trivandrum on 12th November and we didn't expect Ananya till after the 20th...but looks like she was so eager to see the world that she decided to make an appearance on 14th Nov. Divya got some feeble pains on 14th morning (which surely did not resemble the labour pains that I have seen on television and in the movies), but in order to be on the safe side, we decided to get to the hospital. Reached the hospital in the morning and she was taken in to the pre labour room. Now one wd expect the baby to be out in a couple of hours....but our daughter...no....she decided to wait till evening to actually make an appearance....I went off to take a nap around 4ish and around 6ish my FIL woke me up to tell me that they have taken her to the labour room. So we went down and in a few minutes we heard a shrill scream...and who would that be....our daughter...finally...that first scream gave me goose bumps ....just thinking about the marvel that child birth is....since in India we are not allowed in the labour room, we had to wiat patiently for the nurse to come out an dtell us whether its a girl or a boy...and finally after a few minutes we hear the nurse and she tells us that its a baby girl....yahooo.....thats what I wanted ...a baby girl......the nurse gets her out for me to have my first view of my baby covered in blood.....and I took her in my arms...and that feeling cannot be described....that tiny thing all swathed in cloth finally out to face the world after a full 9 months....
Today she is around 3 and half months old and am waiting to see here in April....
