London has won the Olympic bid. Well it was a nail biting finale.....yesterday all the tv channels were only talking about the bid results and how close a race it is between Paris and London. Considering the fact that London was not a favourite last year this is highly commendable and also considering the fact that this was Paris' 3rd time bid.

During such competetion one can actually see the intensity of the rivalry between the Brits and the French.Some ppl just wanted London to win to spite the French which was so funny.Ofcourse they do have a historic rivalry, but it gets swept under the surface normally and comes out with full vigour during such competetions.

Whatever the case, London has an opportunity to host a great show and they shd make full use of this opportunity. Thousands of jobs will be created which shd be good for the economy.
