Today, atlast I cd get myself to update this space....
well its not like too many things have taken place ...my life is pretty routinised...watched ''The Apartment'' last week.....its a cutesy kind of film....which gives u a nice feeling watching it....stars Jack Lemmon and Shirley Maclaine...It is a black and white movie ....and the story is about this bachelor guy who works in a large Insurance firm....his flat is used by his top management members for their extra marital relnships.....the funny part of this movie was how extra marital relnships were treated as a part of life....each of the managers had one....Ofcourse offering his flat was a method of climbing the corporate ladder....the movie has a lot of hilarious moments when our man Baxter decides to go home early one evening since he wasnt feeling too well....and his nice dreams about getting in to bed witha cup of hot tea was disrupted when he receievesa call from one of his ''Flat Loaners'' who had made a booking that evening.....and how he is forced to move out and spend teh night in a park....
Incidentally our man has a soft corner for one of the lift attendants(Shirley M)...but does not have the courage to ask her out...One day he receives a call from the top boss of the orgn...and he feels that he is in for trouble....but to his surprise the boss wants his apartment....:-)))...little does he know that the boss is having an affair with the light of his life.....
The story moves on to how he discovers this and his feelings which are portrayed so sweetly that your heart goes out to Lemmon...finally ofcourse everything is settled...Shirley realises the love of our hero..and they live happily ever after.....in all a nice watch....
